The anger is really beginning to surmount!!how much longer can I go on taking in all this information? How many more times will you change your mind?? Can I ever trust what you say?

When I was younger I recall you telling me that red meat will kill me and I should consume no more than 2 eggs a week. I should eat reduced and non-fat items such as cookies and cakes, that will be just fine. Soda is fat free, pasta is fat free no problem at all. In fact just follow the food pyramid eat 6-11 servings of bread, cereal rice and pasta per day.

I should work out and do aerobics, easy on the weight training though, I dont want muscles like a man. I carefully followed instructions.

However, after several years sometime around college, you changed your tune. You told me dont eat carbs they will make you fat. Dont worry so much about excercise it's not necessary and is making me hungry. What I was advised before about breads and pastas was a mistake, they are refined sugars, posion sending my blood pressure on a rollercoaster.

You advised me that this was the problem all along, I was stupid to eat those bagels, sandwiches and pastas. I was so thankful and gracious for this new revelation, I completely removed these items from my diet.

Although I felt accomplished, you set me straight and told me it's not enough, buy the Atkins book for reference and limit all carbs below 40 a day. I listened to you as always and ate bacon for breakfast, removed sugar from my coffee (and any flavors as they are sugar in disguise), cheeseburgers with no roll and plain grilled chicken salad for dinner (careful on the dressing hidden carbs) snacks were almonds or cheese. My day consisted of 100% protein.

I wondered where all the vitamins and minerals were, but you insisted that fruit was nothing but carbs and sugar. Strawberries are acceptable only occansionally but grapes are junkfood and very high on the glycemic index. Oh no !! glycemic index?? whats that? I bought a book with the complete listing of the glycemic index and only ate what was on the bottom of that list.

I will tell you, that this DID work for me you were right. However after several months, one afternoon my blood sugar was so low that I went insane, unable to control my actions I got a large ice latte with extra carmel sauce, a butterfinger, a snickers, cream filled cupcakes and soft batch cookies. I finished all these items in a few short hours and realized this just wont work for me.

Since you are always changing your mind and contradicting yourself, it is no surprise at this point that you had new updates to provide me. As it turns out you realized that perhaps a low carb diet is not really sustainable after all. Instead, I should consume whole grains and fiber, as many as I can get my hands on. Welcome back bread, pasta, crackers and cereal, you are no longer low fat, you are now in multi-grain versions. Popcorn is a whole grain?? wonderful !However, by this point I dont even like pasta anymore and I prefer my sandwich on a wrap. Seeing as I have nothing else to go by and probably cant accurately identify what I do or dont like anymore, I go ahead with your suggestion and incorporate "whole grain" carbs back into my diet.

After all those months of eating only meat, you then decide to graphically reveal to me where this meat comes from and how the animals are treated. I thought that were happily grazing on farm, why did you lie? Sure it was my own ignorance, but all I know is what you tell me. Feeling disgusted at myself and the world I gave up pork and red meat. I still feel bad thinking about the beautiful pigs and cows that were abused in my quest to eliminate carbs and really you should feel ashamed too.

I was finally feeling really good about things ---eatings fruits, yogurts, vegtables, more seafood ( still a little chicken and turkey as I am still afraid to let go of the protein low-carb thing completely and need more options). Most importantly, I am back to regular lattes with skim milk, which I thoroughly enjoy.

It seemed wonderful, but as always you are around to ruin things and as turns out I STILL did not have it right !!!!

Dairy is the problem !! the cows are not happy, the milk is being tainted with horomones, and my daily lattes are likely causing my stuffy nose and phlemgy-ness. Anyhow, my body isnt really absorbing all the calcuim actually in the milk. The dairy industry are all liars who want our money and have no compassion for animals. Okay, No problem at all ! I can live without cheese and switch to soy lattes. I already enjoy toffuti cuties and the Asians have been comsuming soy for years, it is a miracle food, right?. Easy enough I will make the switch and buy some tofu for good measure. Thank you for shedding light on this matter. Now I have finally got it right !

Not so fast, as it turns out soy wont work either! I will overdose on isoflavins, my brain will shrink, and I am not really absorbing all that protein anyway, instead, it is causing my body to block the absorption of protein. In fact, I am probably not even consuming real soy, but genectically modified soy. You told me organic soy is a good try but the GMOs get mixed in anyhow so there is no guarantee. Fine! cocunut milk creamer will work just as well if not better. In fact, I am shock we havent been using cocunut milk as a society right from the beginning what could be better? it even sounds good just to say it out loud.

Speaking of GMOs, I should really buy all organic fruits and vegtables from local farmers to avoid chemicals, cancer and the future uncertain effects of genetically altered foods (which appearantly have been used since the 90s unbenounced to me). DONE! green market every Sunday to supplement my grociery shopping and only organic products at the regular grocery store.

We had some rough patches, but you are really starting to make sense now! this was around the time you told me about "superfoods" such as blueberries, sweet potatoes or pomegranites. Glorious, superfoods had antioxidants and would make me more beautiful with shiny hair and perfect skin. You told me to indulge their wonderfulness and I did!

BUT! happiness cant last forever especially when it comes to you !I am very accomodating up to this point but what you advise next is really going to make me lose it .

You told me to only eat what is in season in my local area!! Food travels too far... it is picked too early and causes pollution during travel. What? do you realize that I live in New York? what fruits can I eat in the winter? only apples? thanks alot!! are they even a superfood? NO!!

Cows are alive in the winter, let me guess I should eat them now? and pigs too ? back to low carb again? well what if I dont want to? What if I want a MANGO?? or an Avocado? and what about my coconut milk creamer? coconuts are never in season here do you realize this?

Should I just stop eating altogether and drink water? NO!! because you cant decide if all the bottled water is causing my teeth to crumble because I am not drinking the flouride enhanced tap water or if flouride will cause me to die young. And the plastic bottle will give me cancer anyway right? Oh thats right I am sorry you did say I should ideally obtain hydration mostly through fruits like watermelon, it's better to maintain weight. While they are in season I guess I just bring a big watermelon for to the gym with me in case I get thristy-- thats sensible, I can always count on you huh?

What did you finally decide about coffee? You have been back and forth for years on that one. Any news on an acceptable breakfast?

I am thinking about identifing an island that grows all the fruits and vegtables that I like the most and moving to that island and living off the land. I will only eat what grows in my back yard, please let me know if that will work.

Something so unattainable

There is something in this world so rare and unattainable that without it, the end result 100% of the time has been either a referral of my name to a collection agency or a cancellation of one of my accounts. I rarely need this item, but when I do, no matter how hard I try I never ever succeed in acquiring it. I am sure by now you realize that this item is none other than the hated, despised, illusive, united states postage stamp!

Let's take a look back to 2007 when it all started. I received a document in the mail from the DMV advising me that I must renew my registration for somewhere around 55-80 dollars. I didnt feel like spending money on this nonsense at the time so I set the letter on my kitchen counter and left it there for a time when I would feel better prepared to deal with this situation.

About a month or two later, I felt ready to take a look into this registration issue. I had an option to send in a check, credit card information or pay online. I decided "pay online" would be the easiest choice and I needed my VIN number to do so. I promptly went out to my car to find it. I finally located this number about 30 minutes later and was exicted to go back to the DMV website and make this horrid payment so I would never have to face this again. This did not work out for me, I received many error messages preventing me from completing the payment. My other option was to mail in the payment and I needed two things to do so a stamp and an envelope, I had neither. Annoyed I set the letter back on the counter and left it there for a few weeks, I just kept passing it by every morning feeling frustrated.

One day I finally had some energy and decided to place the letter in my purse, I realized I could take the letter to work and find an envelope at work, if it was already in my purse I wouldnt forget. Well as it turns out that purse didnt go with my outfits for about two weeks later. At this point it was been about 3-4 months since I originally received the letter and I wasnt getting any closer to resolving the issue.

Somehow by miracle, I took the purse to work and happened to notice the letter in there. Exicted, I immediately rushed to grab an envelope. The return address prefilled on the envelope was Blue Cross Blue Shield as these are the only envelopes available. I needed to white out the return address and write my address over it. I found white out in my desk, but it was dried out. Therefore, frustrated again, the envelope went back into my desk for a few more weeks.

While I was looking for something else in my desk, I noticed the envelope with the letter and payment form. I decided to take control over the issue and tape blank paper over the pre-filled address and write my return address on top. Then, I went all the way downstairs to the stamp machine to get a stamp and finally drop it in the mail. Of course when I got downstairs I remembered they removed the stamp machine over a year ago.

I never saw that envelope again, but about 8 months later I got pulled over at the toll booth on my way home from work. I had no registration, and actually no inspection so I received some tickets. I was supposed to MAIL my plea back to the court ugghh!! here we go again.

Four months later I really did try to mail my guilty plea to the court. I filled out that ticket that is impossible to fill out with so little space, I asked a co-worker for a blank envelope and I went downstairs at to the stamp machine. Stamp machine still not there, I forgot again.

In an attempt to be responsible I had a few options-- ask someone for a stamp ( I already asked for an envelope), which really is not an option I would never want to be in the position of owing someone a stamp-- it would cause mass anxiety-- I could stop at the UPS store by my house and see that short miserable lady in her ski cap year round or I could stop by the post office two blocks away from my house that is opened until 6:00.

I chose the post office option and when I got there, I was overwhelmed by a line of 25 people! I looked for the stamp machine and couldnt find one. I had no choice but to go back to my car, I placed the envelope in my glove compartment and it stayed there forever.

Several months later my license was suspended, I pushed it for another few months but after a few close calls had to take a afternoon off from work to go to Rotterdam court on Princetown road and pay a 100.00 fine with an 80.00 surcharge.

I thought that was the end of ever needing stamp until 2008, when I went thru the NJ EZ pass with no EZ pass thing. To be honest I had no intention of paying the 25.00 it was a joke to me, until I saw on the news that EZ pass will send you to a collection agency. It seemed ridiculous to ruin my credit over 25.00, so I set out on a quest for a stamp. I wondered if there was one in my house, I know my boyfriend sometimes uses mail so maybe there were extras around, if I looked carefully. I checked desks, drawers, shelves, I really put in a respectable effort. It paid off I found one! I couldnt believe it !!Now I do not use mail much, but I know that stamps prices change quarterly. I went online and googled the price of a stamp, naturally I was 2 cents short, so I had a stamp right in my hand, but it still wasnt enough I needed a SECOND stamp. I didnt even know where to begin, I felt a wave of anxiety and helplessness. If I go to the UPS store I will see the hateful summertime ski cap lady and the post office will have a line as long as infinity.

As you may guess, about six months later I received a notice that my account was sent to collections. I didnt receive a payment coupon to mail back so at this point I am satisfied and will put it out of my mind.

In addition, since then I have had to mail some information to my car insurance. This time a bit wiser, I went online and signed up for stamps.com. The 15.99 a month fee far outweighs the stress I have endured. I realized at the end of registering for a one year membership in order to use this service, I needed a scale and other printing equipment. I didnt have this equipment! why would I? I just wanted to use mail without a trip the post office like they promised. Needless to say, I have been paying 15.99 a month, still no closer to accessing stamps and my insurance has since been terminated with a lapse in coverage.

There no way to rectify this-- please dont tell me to go buy a book of stamps, by the time I need those stamps I will need the second stamps to accompany them. The only way to stop the insanity is to hire an assistant, I am incapable of obtaining stamps myself.

Here is one of my first blogs I was working on-- but before I got a chance to finish they cancelled the daily 10 and I lost inspiration-- posting it anyhow

I am exicted to finally post my first blog entry today! This should have taken place last week but due to the insurmountable amount of work I have had to contend with, a short delay occured.

An internal component of completing homework is of course watching T.V. Now, I cannot watch anything too interesting or thought provoking during this process because my attention must be on school work. Instead, I need the T.V. on to occupy the extra part of my brain that isnt needed for cash flow estimations or the calculation of bonds or the present value of cash. Without it, my brain goes wild with random uncontrolable thoughts and I end up looking for every romper/ jumpsuit available for sale online until I find the best one (I have three tied for the lead right now and will order one soon). Anyway this is not what is posting is about, it is about my selection of TV shows that I watch will completing homework.

The first and most informational is E! News which is really a one hour combination of E! News and the Daily 10, which is basically a repeat of E! News. How great is that? If I wasnt paying attention the first time, they will repeat it for me again a second time ! The news correspondents are highly capable and intelligent, some of the best on TV! Guliana and Cat have the most full and luxiourious hair, they must replenish their hair extensions each day. Sal is so cool, he is best friends with all the celebrities!!

The news stories are highly informational, I am always hearing crazy rumors throughout my day and I am left wondering... are they SO TRUE! or SO FALSE?For example, the other day I heard that Suri Cruise was spotted on the upper east side of manhattan wearing red high heels. I couldnt believe it because it sounded so proposterious!Fortunately, E! cleared up my confusion, advising indeed that this was SO FALSE!! in fact she was wearing pink high heels-- now thats more reasonable. Sometimes, rumors can be both SO TRUE!! and SO FALSE!! Like when they report on the Kendra or the Kardashians. Did Scott get drunk and beligerent again? SO TRUE? or SO FALSE? .....well is E! news is not sure, why? well obviously we need to tune in on Sunday to watch. They are not going to spoil it for us, we just get way too anxious and need to learn how to contain the excitement and simply wait until Sunday night!

E News! cares about their viewers, they are always letting us know what is coming up next, sometimes they spend 5 minutes describing the next story to look forward to and that cooresponding story is only 5 seconds long. With other News shows, I forget what is coming up next if I am not constantly reminded, consequently, I will just change the channel because I cant even recall what I am watching anymore. Not to mention, that I really dont want to waste time hearing the whole entire story or all the details, they are not important.

Also, with other news programs, I cannot confirm their sources. They refuse to disclose them, so how do I know if the information is accurate? I dont, I just have to believe. Well I am not okay with that. E! News is different they are very open and honest as to the main source of all their news stories, and it is something I can easily access within seconds from my computer or cell phone-- Twitter of course! Since I dont have the time or attention span to read Ashton, Demi's, Kim's, John Mayer or Lindsay's Tweets everyday, E! News can summarize these tweets and cite them out loud to save me the hassle of the task of reading. There are some celebrities that no longer use twitter, like Mylie Cyrus, however E! News is so fabulous that they still manage to gather reports on her daily.

Doesnt Kat give the cutest nick names to celebrities? poptart, california girl, LL or Misssss Lohan,

Blind people can also enjoy E! news they are careful to explain every detail of the images they display. Here we see Jessica Alba in floor length Aztec printed Maxi dress with her hair causally pulled back in a pony tail, walking on Melrose Ave holding her beautiful daughter Honor who is wearing an adorable red cardigan and matching red bow in her hair.
